Online Sketchbook Meetup
Online Sketchbook Meetup
Saturdays
9 am-10:45 am CST
Zoom (class recordings available)
Drop-in rate: $45
4 Session Pass: $150
(please specify which class dates you are applying your 4 session pass to when signing up!)
This drop-in class is held Saturday mornings on Zoom and will feature a different drawing prompt each week. Reference images will be provided for all sessions and will be sent out by 5 pm CST the Friday before each session.
Each session prompt will focus on various ways to achieve a satisfying sketchbook page or study across several pages. We will use a variety of mediums including graphite, markers, chalk pastel, charcoal, watercolor, pen & ink, and occasionally gouache.
All skill levels are welcome! You are on your own personal sketchbook journey, so your sketchbook page may not look the same as mine or the other attendees in each session. These sessions are meant to be process-based, not product-based.
If you would like additional drawing and painting resources to practice skills covered in each session, please email me or visit the following link to see a playlist on YouTube with a full list of classes I have taught online for Michaels that cover a number of foundational drawing and painting concepts:
